Mizanur Rahman Sakib

Born in 1981 in Bangladesh, Mizanur studied at the Department of Printmaking, University of Dhaka. His language accommodates an interdisciplinary approach that experiments with installation, assemblage, video, collage, sculpture, performance and photography. He has been a part of residency projects at Britto Art Trust, Dhaka, Bangladesh (2009); and Delfina Foundation, London (2018).

His participation in group exhibitions includes: Chobi Mela [X], International Festival of Photography Dhaka (2019); Finger on the Pulse, Akar Prakar Contemporary, New Delhi (2018); Entangled Reality, Vienna (2017); Tasher Desh Arambag, Dhaka (2017); Self Identity, National Museum, Dhaka (2016); Mourn, a process-based art show, Dhaka Art Center, Bengal Foundation (2012); and How Are You?, Community Space Litmus gallery, South Korea (2012). Mizanur is the winner of Samdani Art Award, Dhaka Art Summit 2018. He has also worked at Ogilvy & Mather, Dhaka, as a Senior Visualizer, before working as a freelancer in London. 

Mizanur lives and works in Dhaka.
